Privacy PolicyWhat is the Mars Import privacy policy? Mars Import is a private company, with no affiliations to other groups. Mars Import will never share any personal or private information of its members with any other person or corporation. Please note that although Mars Import requires certain information from its members and customers (such as shipping address), this information is never shared with anyone else. Mars Import does require the use of 'cookies' to properly process your order, but the data retrieved by the cookies is also never shared with anyone else, and is used only for filling your orders correctly. If you ever have any questions about the Privacy Policy of Mars Import, please feel free to contact us directly at CustomerService@marsimport.com. Why do you need my personal information? First of all, we never share any information entered into Mars Import with anyone in any way. Please see our Privacy Policy (above) for full details. We don't require any personal information, except for the information that is necessary for filling your order, such as your shipping address and email address (which we use to send you a copy of your order). Additionally, you have to be a certain age to join Mars Import as a member and a certain age to place orders at Mars Import (see below). Why do you need to have my age? We don't need your exact age, but to be a member of MarsImport, you must be at least 13 and to place an order with MarsImport you must be at least 18. Age PolicyHow old do I have to be to join MarsImport as a member? Due to the Child Online Protection Act, you must be at least 13 to become a member of MarsImport. How old do I have to be to place an order? You must 18 or older to place an order with MarsImport. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you can become a MarsImport member, participate with reviews, and join the mailing list, but you will be unable to place orders with Mars Import. I'm under 18, but I want to order something from MarsImport. What do I do? If you are under 18 years old, please ask your parent or legal guardian to join Mars Import and place an order for you. We really appreciate your interest in Mars Import, and hope you will join us as a member if you are over 13. Order PolicyWhy does Mars Import use cookies? Mars Import uses cookies to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart and other information relevant to your order process. All this information is private and is not used for any other purpose, nor is it ever shared with any other parties. Please see our Privacy Policy above for more information. Why does Mars Import require me to create an account before placing an order? Creating a unique account for yourself allows you access to a secure part of the website where you can check on the status of your order and see how it is progressing. Also, if you shop with Mars Import again, using the account you previously created will create a faster ordering process. The shipping information that you have already entered will be used by default with your new order. This way, you won't have to reenter information over and over. What is the Mars Import return policy? Mars Import only accepts returns on items that were damaged in shipping, or if the wrong product is sent to you. All other sales are final. Mars Import will replace any item that is damaged in shipping. Please contact us by email at CustomerService@marsimport.com and mail back the damaged item AS WELL AS THE PACKAGE AND PACKING MATERIALS you received it in. If you receive the wrong item by mistake, please contact us at CustomerService@marsimport.com and mail the item back. We will send you the correct item with free shipping. Send all returns to:
Mars Import, Inc. Shipping PolicyHow long will it take for you to mail my order?? We try to get every order mailed as soon as possible. Sometimes we can mail an order out the same day it was received, but please allow up to a week for us to mail your order. Also, sometimes we are out of items, or are waiting for an item to come back in stock. This will delay your order further while we wait for the shipment of this item. You can check the status of each item by logging into your account. Where do you ship orders to? We ship orders internationally to any location. The only limitation is that for some countries and destinations, we do not currently accept payment by credit card. Payment for these countries must be by International Money Order. What methods of shipping do you offer? The company used for shipping is the United States Postal Service (USPS). The types of shipping available depend on the country that an order is being sent to. For the United States, all shipments are made by USPS Priority Mail (which usually takes 2 to 3 days). For all other countries, shipments can be sent by either USPS International Parcel Post Surface (which usually takes 1 to 2 months), or USPS International Parcel Post Air (which usually takes 1 or 2 weeks). Payment PolicyWhat forms of payment do you accept? We accept Certified Checks and International Money Orders in U.S. funds. We also accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, with some limitations. Read below for more information on credit cards and their limitations. Cash of any form will not be accepted. Can I pay with a credit card? Yes, with a few limitations. Mars Import accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express for orders that are SENT to the following countries: United States of America, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Falkland Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Mexico, Monaco, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and Western Samoa. If you are ordering something that is to be mailed to any other destination, we do not currently allow payment by credit card for those countries. What credit cards do you accept? We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. This is a free email list that sends out regular emails advising you about new books that have arrived at Mars Import, new announcements, or other information about Mars Import.
