Jean-Marc says: "(Note: My definition of "European" includes South American artists for obvious artistic & business reasons, but not British stuff; I don't know enough about mangas & other Far Eastern comics to make up a good list.)

To avoid the "Hernandez Bros." quandary, I've purposefully tried to avoid duplications of names, otherwise some folks (like Moebius) would show up in too many spots.
